In recent times I was going through an article on the religious practices of the modern or relatively younger generation. I thought to keep it in mind and observe it for some time before I reach any, so much so called a perception of mine on a social issue.Myself being a believer of god in all forms of its existence..omnipresent, omnipotent and even not present when being talked about.I am actually a non believer but the above argument has saved me from some arguments of its kind. Now I should well go back on the issue.
Well, back in the day..as I am trying to explain the daily infatuation of the young generation with the god. People actually are limiting their understanding of the reason or cause behind most of the religious traditions. Here I would like to add that religious culture and traditional culture are two very different things and their difference is awful lot important to understand the individual term. For example, Christmas is a religious tradition and no matter where a Christian is, trekking in Andes or sailing in Balkan, will celebrate 25th of December as the birth of Jesus. On the other side of the page we have seasonal crop cutting festivals..celebrated by all people alike. Now, in the unitarian universal belief, where most of the people believe in horoscopes, tarot cards, gemology, astrology and numerology along with their traditional religious beliefs will try or add any other theory that will help in their personal development or which makes them feel better about themselves( including the reforms in the constitution, right to information and other more practical changes). This seems like an awfully good route towards a good and healthy society or is it?
